FORTY YEARS OF TRANSITION (Keeping the Law)
If not a Rapture, then what? The answer is very easy, if you realize that YAHWEH has always had a plan, and it has always been the same. As When YAHWEH brought Israel out of Egypt, to the Promised Land, There was a forty year time of transition in the wilderness, for the older people (Types) (GENTILES) to die off, and the young people (ISRAEL) to come of age and enter in to the promised land, (KINGDOM).
All through the bible there are references to forty years & forty Days, as times of transition, and a very important one is that it is possible, by checking the Roman records, to tell when YAHSHUA was born. It is commonly accepted that he was born in the year 4 B.C. And we know what time of year it was, late Sept. or early Oct.
That means his ministry started in the Fall of 26 A.D., and three and a half years later would bring us to Passover in the Spring of 30 A.D. The time of his Crucifixion. Then there was a Forty Year transition, to the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem, by Titus in the Roman year of Seventy (70) A.D. By using good judgment, and by studying Types and Shadows in the Scriptures, you can come to the conclusion that there will be a time of transition, at the fulfillment of the Gentile Time. Most Probably 40 years, which would take us to the year 2007 A.D., and a lot of people will say "I have lots of time before I have to get right with Yahweh". There are quite a few things they are not thinking about, and I will try to enlighten you on them in later chapters. (WE don't have that much time.) Now!
NOT ONE JOT OR ONE TITTLE OF THE LAW SHALL PASS AWAY
Matt. 5:17-20 Says "THINK NOT that I am come to destroy the law or the prophets I am not come to destroy but to fulfill. for verily I say unto you till heaven and earth pass one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled."
I have shown this scripture to people who think the law has been done away with, and some of the answers that I get are really hard to believe.
Most will say something like this " Well YAHSHUA Fulfilled it all on the "cross". I wonder if YAHSHUA has fulfilled Isa. 66:15-18 or Ezek Chapters 36 - 48 or countless other prophesies that are contained in what people mistakenly call the Old Testament?.
Take a break and walk outside your house to see if the heavens and the earth have passed. If not, don't you think that you might have to re-think what you have been taught???
What the Apostles wrote after this has to line up perfectly with what YAHSHUA said that day. The only thing I can come up with is, people must think that YAHSHUA was just kidding that day, or that the Apostle Paul had a different gospel than YAHSHUA had. None of these things makes sense if you think about it. You need to read 2 Peter 3:15-17 to understand a little of Paul's writings, Peter says these things are HARD TO UNDERSTAND. You must believe THAT. All of Paul's writings have to be looked at very closely. Lets look at a few of them that are used completely out of context. Look at Galatians 4:8-11. If a person looks at this scripture and does not think, they would naturally assume that Paul was talking about the Days Months and Years that the Israelites Kept. People get confused when they ASSUME THINGS, but THINK about it; Were these Israelites He was writing to, or were they Ex Pagans? If they had been Pagans then how could they turn back to the law of the Jews. It really doesn't make sense does it? In spite of this, I have heard this scripture many times, quoted by someone trying to prove that the Kodesh Days have been done away with. Let's ask ourselves a question. If Paul was teaching that the Kodesh days had been done away with here, or elsewhere, why would he skip his chance to be with the Ephesians to be at Jerusalem for PENTECOST in Acts 20:16? Why would he go into the Temple as James had asked him to so as to prove that people were lying about him by saying he was teaching the Jews to forsake Moses & not to circumcise their children? To show them that he kept the Law PERFECTLY.
What was really happening, was, Paul would get a group of Gentiles to believe on YAHSHUA and to start learning how to serve Him, and, as soon as he would leave, some false Jews would show up and start teaching them that they had to be circumcised and keep all of the laws of Moses. Including becoming proselyte Jews and to sacrifice.
All of Paul's writings are trying to get the Gentiles to understand what they must to do, and what things did not pertain to them. Many things were spiritual to them, especially things pertaining to receiving salvation, and SOME of the Law of Moses. Not including the keeping of Sabbaths. This is why it is so important for you to understand whether you are an Israelite or Gentile.
In the 21st Chapter of Acts Paul has returned from his missionary journey, and has been informed of what some people have been telling on him. Then being told by James to go into the Temple and prove that he kept the law perfectly by purifying himself and making the required offerings (BLOOD SACRIFICES).
Acts 21:25 says that the Gentiles would observe no such thing, only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication. Do you think this is all that they would have to observe? I don't think you do. What about murder, lies, & many other things not mentioned in this scripture?
If you use your head you will see that this scripture is saying that the Gentiles would not be required to do such things as Paul was about to do. Certainly not to go into the Temple, as this was against the law, and would certainly cause the Jews to kill them.
As we see, the Jews accused Paul of just that, and would have killed him had he not been rescued by the Romans.
One of the big misunderstandings is: What does justification mean? Most people think it means to be saved. It really means that you are made presentable to Yahweh to be saved, or made clean, or as the Strong's Concordance says: made innocent. Works or deeds of the law can not make you worthy to be saved, you could keep 1,000 commandments, make sacrifices, get baptized 100 different ways and none of these things will make you worthy.
Only one thing will ever make us worthy to be saved, and that's the blood of YAHSHUA MESSIAH, and this is the message that the Apostle is trying to get to the Gentiles that he is writing to, who have been misled by the false teachers who went out to them, trying to get them to be justified by the law, especially circumcision.
Lets look at a few scriptures; and you must realize that these scriptures are just as important as John 3:16 or Acts 2:38 or any other scripture for that matter.
Look at 1 John 2:3-4 "And hereby we do know that we know that we know him, If we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
Do you realize what this scripture says? John 14:17, 15:26, 16:13, and 1 John 4:6 says the Kodesh Spirit is the Spirit of Truth, If the truth is not in you, neither is the Kodesh Spirit.
This does not say hereby we know we know him, because we SPEAK IN TONGUES or because we HAVE ACCEPTED HIM IN OUR LIVES. Don't get me wrong I have nothing against speaking in tongues or receiving him into our lives, but this is not proof that we have the spirit of truth. Keeping the commandments IS.
You will probably say "which commandments?"; as the young man did when YAHSHUA told him how to enter into life. I can't tell you any better than YAHSHUA told him. YAHSHUA quoted Six of the 10 commandments to show him which ones he was talking about. If you don't believe this your heart MAY BE hardened, BUT I HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU.
