Since
the original sin in the Garden of Eden there has been witnessed great disunity
between man and woman relationally as husband and wife. There are scriptures
that are significant to this relationship between a man and woman that lend
credence to the teaching we are presenting in this message. Some of these
scriptures have up to this day either been overlooked by the seeker of Truth or
casually dismissed as not being relevant to the times in which we are now
living. One thing we must realize when we search the scriptures is that Yah's
Word is eternal. Let’s look at some of these scriptures to see the
relationship and relevance.
In
the beginning Adam was alone. Relationally he had no peer and none other with
which he could share himself in the same way as he witnessed in the animals that
he named as recorded in Genesis 2:19-20. Then we see in verses 21-23 that Yahweh
made ‘woman’ to be Adam's mate. Adam named her Eve and her sole purpose was
to be his helpmeet. In the formation of this union of two becoming one flesh
Yahweh establishes an order and relationship between Man and Woman.
It was not established on our perception of fairness that would change
with time, but as a result of Yahweh's order, which is timeless. We then read
that it was Eve who was beguiled by the serpent and not Adam. This is important
to understand because scripture brings out this point in
1Timothy
2:13,14, & 15.
Let
the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to
teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. For Adam was
first formed, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived
was in the transgression.
So
we see that woman came out of man and through marriage man joins woman and
becomes one flesh again. In this union there should be the ordained order
between husband and wife. Man and
woman. We look around in our world today and we don't see anything like this in
all but few relationships between the two genders. If we are to live in a way
that is pleasing to Yahweh we must live according to His order and not ours. We
must be obedient to His commands and not our perception of right and wrong.
IF
the question becomes why?
The answer is: Because our rationale is tainted by sin.
The
disposition of sin which is manifested in individual sins.
I
believe the greatest witness of the
disposition of sin recorded is that of Satan when iniquity was found in him as
found in:
Ezekiel 28:12-19.
Son
of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus
says Yahweh; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
You
have been in Eden the garden of Yahweh; every precious stone was
your covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and
the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the
workmanship of your tabrets and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day
that you were created.
You
are the anointed cherub that covers;
and I have set you so: you were upon
the holy mountain of Yahweh; you have walked up and down in the midst of the
stones of fire.
You
were perfect in your ways from the day
that you were created, till iniquity was found in you.
By
the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with
violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the
mountain of Yahweh: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of
the stones of fire.
Your
heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by
reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before
kings, that they may behold you.
You
have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of your iniquities, by the
iniquity of your trade; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of
you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the
sight of all them that behold you.
All
they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a
terror, and never shall you be
any more.
In this we see a divine order in the Creation of Yahweh being broken when Satan exalts himself above what he was created to be. That being said makes the following statement logical and just as irrefutable. If a woman exalts herself above what she was created to be she then duplicates Satans example follows after him and not Yahweh.
This is a very hard saying.
In
balance it needs be said that all of the race of man are guilty in some way of
this very thing. Whether man or woman. For the purpose of this teaching we are
looking in scripture as we read about a spirit that Satan manifests in a couple
of ways. Through women called "Jezebel" and "Babylon The
Great". Their sins are the same.
The
following story and scriptures will bring this out:
Once
there was a man that owned a vineyard, and it was near to the king’s property.
The king wanted to add this valuable property to his own. So he went to talk to
the man to try to get him to trade this property to him, or sell it to him, but
the owner of the property felt very attached to his land, and felt as if this
was his inheritance. The result of his reasoning being that he refused to part
with it even though the king had offered him land that was more valuable then
his in trade.
So
the king went home to ‘mommy’ and started to pout. Then the Queen asked,
“Why are you pouting?” and stated, after her husband related to her the
events leading to his unhappiness, “You are the king and you should have what
you want.” And “arise,
and eat bread, and let your heart be merry: I will give you the vineyard of
Naboth the Jezreelite.”
So
the Queen sent messages to some of her subjects that lived in the area where the
owner of the vineyard lived. She told them to find some men to falsely accuse
the vineyard owner of blaspheming the King and Yahweh.
These subjects did as they were bid and had the poor man stoned to death
when the law abiding citizenry were made aware of evil that they had been
instructed to put away from Israel. When this had been accomplished according to
plan, the evil Queen told the king to get up off of his bed, and go claim the
vineyard as rightfully his...
This story is about Queen Jezebel and King Ahab of the northern kingdom of Israel.
This story and some others in the scriptures tell us a little about this evil couple.
This
story can be found in 1 Kings 21:1 thru
16.
These
writings let us know whose mind was the power behind the goings on in that
country at that time. It shows us that Ahab was a very weak man, and not nearly
as smart or ambitious as his wife. We see that she was the power behind the
throne. We see it again very clearly when EliYah killed the priests of Ba’al
as found in 1 Kings 18:16-40. ‘King’ Ahab went directly to Jezebel and she then
threatened to kill the prophet. Consequently putting EliYah on the run.
In
taking this context to heart I have to say that I have seen this very thing in
almost every church that I have been in which there was a woman that was very
cunning and crafty who was with a husband that was very weak minded. I had
always wondered what the woman was supposed to do in such circumstances when so
clearly mismatched. Scripture tells us in:
Ephesians
5:22-24
Wives, submit yourselves unto
your own husbands, as unto the Master.
For the husband is the head of
the wife, even as Yahshua the Messiah is the head of the Assembly: and He is the
savior of the body.
Therefore as the assembly is subject unto
Yahshua, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
The
scriptures are clear on this subject. The woman is supposed to be under the
headship of the man.
However
when I had observed a situation in which it was evident that the man was not
capable of being the head of his house, and the woman was required to do the job
of the man and ‘wear the pants’, I had always wondered how this woman was
supposed to obey the scriptures. Then it came to me! In such cases the woman in
this kind of predicament was looking for a man like this to begin with.
Inadvertently or not, when she was looking for a husband, I am very sure that
she saw that the man for whom she had ‘set her cap’ was weak minded, easily
controlled, and was someone she could dominate from the beginning of their
relationship. It would appear
that this is no accident. That these ‘Jezebels’ are looking for an
‘Ahab’ to share their life with. Someone they know that they can influence
and in some cases intimidate. Enabling her to do the things that she wants done
so that she can wear the pants in the family and rule the house in place of the
man. The
society that we have been born into has supported this mindset, which is really
a heart attitude, and as a result of such thinking, oftentimes she may then be
heard to complain, “My husband is not capable of ruling
the home, so what am I to do?”
The
answer??? You picked him, now you must bear the
consequences of your actions, and be subject to him as your covering in Yahshua
if you are answering the call of obedience to the leading of the Spirit of
Truth. Praying for your husband always and becoming the helpmeet to him that
obedience to Yahweh requires of you as a wife. This
rationale goes against the grain of society, and against what has been ingrained
into generations by the enemy of Yahweh, who is obviously a master at
influencing thought and has used his time here to whatever advantage he may
perceive to bring destruction to Yah's chosen Ones.
I then understood that the Jezebel spirit could not exist unless there is an Ahab spirit to nurture it. Some one that the woman can hide behind so that in appearance to others she seems to be under subjection to him. This is obvious to anyone watching that possesses this knowledge and can see through the pretense.
Ephesians
5:25-33
Husbands,
love your wives, even as the Messiah also loved the assembly, and gave himself
for it; That He might sanctify and cleanse it with the
washing of water by the word,
That He might present it to
Himself a glorious assembly, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but
that it should be holy and without blemish.
So ought men to love their wives
as their own bodies. He that loves his wife loves himself.
For no man ever yet hated his
own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Messiah the assembly:
For we are members of his body,
of his flesh, and of his bones.
For this cause shall a man leave
his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be
one flesh.
This
is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Yahshua and the assembly.
Nevertheless
let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the
wife see that she reverence her husband.
So,
the men in these relationships must repent
as well and
become the men they are supposed to be in obedience to Yahweh. This
is impossible if the strong man of the house has been bound.
Matthew
12:29
Or
else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he
first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house.
How
is the strong man bound?
By
what he desires, or by force against him that overpowers him.
What
is spoiled in his house when he is bound?
All
that should come under the order of Yahweh and the guiding of His Spirit.
How
is this harmful?
This
spirit permeates the children, the job, the finances, and all other parts of
life. Leading to destruction as this spirit brings confusion and abomination in.
Causing separation from Yahweh of those who are called by His Spirit
The unbinding of the strongman will take place as men turn toward our Sovereign for their sense of direction in regard to decision making in the day to day circumstances of life. Through prayer and fasting, the seeking of counsel, and the adherence to the plumbline (Word of Yahweh). If that mans desire is to the things of Yahweh first and not to the things that bring about the acceptance of other men.
From
that time forth began Yahshua to show unto his disciples, how that he must go
unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and
scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from you,
Master: this shall not be done to you. But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get you behind me, Satan: you
are an offence unto me: for you do not care for the things that be of Yahweh,
but those that be of men.
Then said Yahshua unto his
disciples, If any will come follow me, let him deny himself, and take up his
cross, and walk with me.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:
and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
In the current society that our world has, the norm is backwards to the order of normality that Yahweh made apparent to His people from the formation of His Creation. That is why those who are obedient to the leading of the Spirit of Truth are the set apart ones. They are set apart from the rest of the world in thought, word, and deed. The nature of the called out ones is apparent as they go against the ‘normal’ flow of society and uphold the concept of the plumbline given to the people whom Yahweh calls His.
Thus
he showed me: and, behold, Yahweh stood upon a wall made by a plumbline, with a
plumbline in his hand. And Yahweh
said unto me, Amos, what do you see? And I said, A plumbline. Then said Yahweh,
Behold, I will set a plumbline in the midst of my people Israel: I will not
again pass over them any more:
Amos
7:7-8
This nature flows from the heart and can no more be stopped than can the nature of the unrepentant heart stop the wide path to destruction from being followed.
Enter
you in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that
leads to destruction, and many there be which go in for this reason: Because
strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there be
that find it. Matthew 7:13, 14
“There
is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof is death” Proverbs
16:25
We
see women stepping up and preaching in the pulpits of churches, and it is not
very long before they become the Pastors. Scripture teaches us that this is not
allowed in the assemblies that are obedient to the order depicted by our Creator
as the norm. In many churches it is the opposite, however, which is the norm. As
an example it can be pointed out that some of the biggest Pentecostal Churches
in the south are being run by a Jezebel. If not directly in the pulpit, Then as
the power behind the ‘throne’.
We
have had couples to come to our services. Some have become regular attendees.
However, when a teaching or doctrine had been brought forth in which the
women are told that they need to be under subjection to the men in their lives
(i.e., husbands or fathers, etc.), as well as the elders of the assembly they
are attending, some of these couples have then gotten mad and left. In the
process making allies of and taking others with them that are weak in spiritual
maturity and understanding. All the while speaking of some other reasoning or
rationale that caused the separation and completing the misdirection. The
constant fruit born of this rebellious nature.
It
must be said that the Ahab spirit is just as bad as the Jezebel spirit. One
cannot exist without the other.
The
men with the Ahab spirit are looking for someone in their lives to tell them
what to do. They don’t want to have the responsibilities of running a family,
or an assembly, or in some cases their own lives. They are more then glad to
have the woman they are married to or are in a relationship with (girlfriend,
mother, grandmother, etc.) do the work of decision making for them. As an
example Ahab was more then glad for his wife to have the owner of the vineyard
killed. Ahab got what he wanted, (the vineyard), and the evil Queen got what she
wanted, (to rule the people of Yahweh,) with the King sitting on the throne as
her puppet. This may sound severe and sinister, and it very truthfully is.
Selah.
Now
you may come to an understanding of what is meant in the book of Revelation ;
And
I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
Behold,
I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great
tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
And
I will kill her children with death; and all the assemblies shall know that I am
He which searches the reins (inmost thoughts and
feelings) and hearts (the will and
character): and I will give unto every one of you according to your
works.
This
spirit is an abomination to Yahweh. Those that are led by Jezebel will be cast
in the bed with her as the scripture states, and suffer the same fate as she
does. Let us be wise and govern ourselves accordingly.
Some
women have some very subtle ways of manipulating their husbands or the assembly.
They have ways of trying to make you feel sorry for them, and like to feel like
they are victims of most any thing.
This
is something that must be addressed in the assemblies; this spirit is a spirit
of destruction.
Something
that might surprise you is that a person does not have to be a woman to have the
Jezebel spirit. This spirit can be
manifested in a man that wants to hide behind some one and try to cause division
and dissension in an assembly. This also can be recognized if we have the eyes
to see.
The
first thing that I have usually noticed about the Jezebel Spirit is that the
woman in which it is manifested will show her self rebellious to the authority
of the Elders and Ministers of the Assembly. As a result and almost without
exception they will balk at wearing a head covering before objecting to anything
else that may be taught.
To
be fair, though, I have seen some women who have had this abominable spirit wear
the head covering as a badge or sign of humility. In an attempt to cover the
fact that they are not under subjection to their husbands or the elders of the
assembly. The fruits of their lives are not hidden to those with eyes to see.
This
is one of the things that we have to get straight in our assemblies if we expect
to see the latter rain of the Holy Spirit be poured forth and the world come to
the understanding of the Sovereignty of Yahshua who is our King and High Priest.
The key word is REPENTANCE.
If Yahweh is calling out His remnant to depart from the confusion that is apparent in these last days we see unfolding before us, then obedience to His order must be recognized as the primary function of the called out ones. THE PLUMBLINE MUST BE RECOGNIZED. If not, then the hatred (enmity) of Yahweh (SATAN) and the confusion of Babylon still reigns as supreme ruler in our lives. Yahweh has called us to come out of Babylon, to disassociate ourselves from the rebellion against Him. This means going against the established order that had permeated us before we knew the truth about ourselves and our Creator. We were born into this confusion, but are being called out of it, no matter what the pain of separation may cost.
Without
faith, it impossible to please Yahweh…
But
without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to Yahweh must
believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.
Hebrews 11:6
It
takes faith to be obedient. Sacrifice is lip service if it is not backed up by
faith. The actions of faith are obedience.
Yes, a man may say, You have
faith, and I have works: show me Your faith without your works, and I will show
you my faith through my works.
You
believe that there is one Sovereign; you do well: the devils also believe, and
tremble.
But
will you know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
James 2:18,19,20
Not every one that says unto me,
Master, Master, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the
will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day,
Master, Master, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast
out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?
And
then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity
(lawlessness, unrighteousness). Matthew 7:21-23
One
thing that I want to talk about before I close. I have seen several men that call
themselves ministers or Elders. When one of these men get up in the assembly
to speak, it is almost as if he is a doll in the hands of a ventriloquist. It is
apparent that the words they speak are really coming from the woman in his life
that has the Jezebel spirit. It can be clearly seen that she is using the
husband as a front to say what she wants to say to the assembly. This is a prime
example of the Ahab spirit in subjection to the Jezebel spirit. They are
symbiotic. One cannot ‘live’ without the other. Clearly it does not matter
how much someone may tell people about the true names or if someone casts out
demons in the name of Yahweh or heals the sick in the name of Yahshua, or
prophesies in that name. If a man does not have his house in order, it will be
apparent that he cannot keep his wife under subjection to the Elders of the
assembly and obedient to Yahweh. It is all for nothing.
It is the Ahab Spirit protecting the Jezebel Spirit.
Both will be cast into the bed and great Tribulation prophesied lest they
repent.
We
have had both spirits demonstrated here in the assembly several times. Each time
the manifestation has always caused discord and it always will.
The
call for all of Israel is to be set apart. Only adherence to the plumbline can
make this possible. Only a circumcised heart
will hear this exhortation to walk by the faith that it takes to be obedient and
not walk by the ‘sight’ of the rationale of man which caused the curses on
Israel to be as they are today.
Seek
The Kingdom and the Righteousness of it.
Serve
